When asked how they would feel about Trump's assassination at a rally, 23% felt "very positive," and 8% "somewhat positive."
A significant 45% indicated they would feel "very positive" about news of Trump’s death in his sleep.
The poll also highlighted a preference for impeachment or military actions against Trump, reflecting a desensitization to political violence among respondents.
Numerous attempts on Trump’s life have occurred, including incidents at his golf course and the White House.
Political figures, like Virginia attorney general Jay Jones and former state representative Elliot Forhan, have expressed violent sentiments regarding Trump, indicating a cultural acceptance of such rhetoric.
This poll illustrates a troubling mindset among some Democrats that may contribute to an atmosphere supportive of political violence, raising concerns about safety and political discourse in the U.S.
