Before the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act or SAVE Act came up for a vote, House Democrat leaders warned that they would be 'whipping' against the bill intended to secure elections and stop illegal aliens from voting in them.
The whipping worked so that 198 House Dems voted against the SAVE Act and 5 voted for it.
The bill passed 221-198 on an almost purely party-line vote and then headed to the Senate where it will never see the light of day.
The House had previously passed H.R.7343 back in May whose purpose was spelled out in its name.
That one passed by a higher margin with 54 Dems voting for it while 148 voted against it.
Votes show values and these are some troubling values indeed.
Most of the House Dems voted to protect illegal aliens who are assaulting cops and voting in federal elections.
