Are we being deceived by corporate media?

Thomas Jefferson said, "Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle." Sounds like corporate media today, doesn't it? I don't know about you, but I don't believe anything I hear in the media until I check it first.

It does bring up an interesting question: if we cannot trust what comes out of the media, especially when it comes to politics, how can we consent to how we are being governed? For example, it appears the recent jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics may not be as rosy as we were led to believe.

Our America Out Loud family receives 20% off Healright when you use the code OUTLOUD. How are we supposed to pursue happiness if we are being lied to about our current situation? We have some decisions to make in November about our representation in governments at all levels.

If we cannot trust what we're being told about the candidates' statements, actions, or track records, how do we know if we'll be happy with them? What can we do about all this? That's the real question, isn't it? You may not like the answer, but it's been working for me.
