In our criminal justice system, the process is the punishment.

Recently a Georgia court unsealed the report of a "Special Purpose Grand Jury" recommending that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis criminally charge President Donald Trump and 38 others for challenging the outcome of the 2020 election.

The report alleges that those named violated more than a dozen state laws, including making false statements and writings, solicitation of election fraud, and Georgia's anti-racketeering law.

This is separate and apart from Willis' RICO indictment charging Trump and 18 others for conspiring to overturn the Georgia election.

This report recommends that Willis indict 39 individuals, including Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Sens.

David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, with respect to their participation in challenges to the 2020 election in Georgia as well as "With respect to the national effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election."

What to make of this? Will Fani Willis follow the recommendation and indict all 39 named persons?

You tried to obstruct an election, and you better not try to obstruct Fulton County justice by testifying for the defense.
