The U.S. Senate has confirmed 74 of President Donald Trump’s nominees.
The bulk confirmations occurred on Friday in a 51-to-47 vote, clearing a major slate of executive officials ahead of the five-week August congressional recess.
Those confirmed included Cameron Hamilton to lead the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), David Cummins to head up the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Francis Brooke as Treasury deputy secretary and Hal Duncan as deputy director for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Additionally, David Brat was confirmed as the ambassador to Australia and Daniel Perez was confirmed as the ambassador to Brazil.

Senate leadership revealed that this brings the total number of confirmed Trump administration nominees—including federal judges and U.S. attorneys—to 136.
