Two Roads to the Same Communism

Buck Throckmorton discusses the rise of two forms of communism: the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) model and the climate-focused Net Zero agenda. Both, he argues, threaten individual freedoms and economic stability in the U. S.

1. Growing Influence of DSA:

● DSA candidates are gaining power in the Democratic Party, winning primaries in New York City and elsewhere against traditional Democrats. This trend worries many moderates about potential backlash in upcoming elections.

2. Climate Communism and Historical Parallels:

● The climate change agenda promotes societal changes reminiscent of past communist regimes led by leaders like Pol Pot and Mao. Throckmorton emphasizes the severe outcomes of such radical shifts.

3. Differences and Similarities:

● While the DSA's vision for the U. S. is openly anti-American, the climate agenda presents itself as a benevolent movement for environmental stewardship, concealing its more extreme economic implications. Both types of communism ultimately aim for control over society and the economy.

4. Internal Resistance:

● Some Democratic leaders, including strategist James Carville, are pushing back against the DSA's influence. A small group of Democrats, reflecting a more moderate stance, has released a "Promise to America," advocating for capitalism.

5. Impacts of the Net Zero Agenda in Europe:

● The implementation of Net Zero policies in Europe has led to rising energy costs and economic hardship, as it seeks to abolish fossil fuels. Citizens are severely impacted by energy dependencies and restrictions.

6. U. S. Policies and Economic Freedom:

● In the U. S., Democrats are supporting transitions towards electric vehicles and strict regulations on fossil fuels, which could disenfranchise ordinary Americans. Throckmorton warns this might lead to poverty and decline in quality of life, drawing parallels to historical famines caused by extreme political actions.

7. Misguided Environmentalism:

● The climate movement has attracted many well-meaning individuals, leading them to support policies that threaten economic freedom. Even some Republicans have been drawn into endorsing climate agendas that could undermine American sovereignty and prosperity.

Throckmorton concludes that both DSA-style communism and Net Zero climate communism pose serious risks to freedom and economic stability in the U. S. He urges a rejection of both paths to safeguard the future.
