FBI raids Fulton County election office in 2020 election fraud probe

On Wednesday, the FBI executed a search warrant at the Fulton County election headquarters in Georgia to collect voting records from the 2020 election. State Senator Josh McLaurin reported that the FBI was interested in around 700 boxes of ballots. Pallets of these boxes were seen being loaded into rental trucks by FBI agents. The warrant covered all ballots, including absentee votes, and 2020 voter rolls.

Fulton County officials expressed concerns about the FBI's actions, with Commissioner Mo Ivory stating they are seeking legal avenues to challenge this search, viewing it as an "assault. " Conversely, Republican Party Chair Julie Adams noted that the FBI's actions follow multiple requests from the Department of Justice for these records, which had been denied by the county.

The issue of access to 2020 ballots has led to ongoing legal disputes, with various parties pushing for transparency in election results and accusations of election fraud lingering in the political discourse.
