Convicted Minnesota fraudster alleges Walz, Ellison were aware of widespread fraud

A recent interview has raised serious allegations about the involvement of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison in a large fraud scheme associated with the nonprofit Feeding Our Future. The claims were made by a convicted fraudster, Aimee Bock, who asserts that the state's officials were aware of fraudulent activities but failed to act.

• Allegations by Aimee Bock: Bock, who was convicted for operating a fraudulent scheme that misappropriated over $250 million meant for feeding children during the COVID-19 pandemic, claims that state officials, including Gov. Walz and AG Ellison, knew about the fraud. She argues that they continued approving claims even after being alerted to suspicious activities.

• Bock's Claims of Inaction: In her statements, Bock emphasizes that despite raising concerns about fraudulent companies, the state did not investigate or halt their operations. She insists that both the governor and the attorney general must be held accountable for their alleged negligence.

• Official Denials: A spokesperson for Ellison refuted Bock's claims, describing her as a "liar, fraudster, and manipulator. " They argued that Bock's credibility is compromised due to her previous convictions and indicated that she is attempting to deflect blame onto others rather than accept responsibility for her actions.

• Ongoing Investigations: The Department of Justice has charged numerous defendants in relation to the fraud, with a significant portion being of Somali descent. The committee stated that over 1,750 subpoenas and more than 130 search warrants have been executed as part of the investigation.

• Reactions from Lawmakers: Rep. James Comer criticized state officials for their handling of the situation and suggested that they may have either been unaware or complicit in the fraud, negatively impacting the residents of Minnesota and misusing taxpayer funds.

The allegations against Gov. Tim Walz and AG Keith Ellison present serious concerns regarding accountability and oversight within Minnesota's governmental operations, especially in handling taxpayer-funded programs during a crisis. Aimee Bock's claims have prompted ongoing investigations and discussions regarding the need for investigative accountability at the state level.
