INVESTIGATIVE REPORT
South Carolina’s elections have become a paradox of modern politics: digitally advanced yet disturbingly opaque. Despite repeated assurances from the State Election Commission (SEC) and local officials, mounting evidence from security audits, whistleblowers, and data analysts nationwide demonstrates that ES&S (Election Systems & Software) machines are not only insecure, but operate within a systematic environment of secrecy that prevents independent verification of election outcomes.
At the heart of the crisis is a simple question: If the public cannot independently verify their own elections, how can they be called free or fair?
