• Vague Reporting: The coverage across the networks provided little detail about how the shutdown happened, with reports routinely framing the narrative as Democrats being pressured by Republicans without specifying that Democrats were the ones blocking the funding.

• Electoral Impact: There is speculation that this media coverage may have influenced the results of recent elections, with Democrats potentially benefiting from the media’s portrayal of the situation.

• Public Awareness: Despite the media's bias, awareness about this trend appears to be growing among the public, leading to decreasing trust in the media.
