FBI announces massive indictment against 33 alleged members of drug trafficking organization

On October 24, 2025, the FBI and the Justice Department announced the indictment of 33 alleged members of the Weymouth Street Drug Trafficking Organization based in Kensington, Pennsylvania. The group is accused of distributing dangerous drugs including fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.

• FBI Director Kash Patel highlighted the operation as a key effort in reclaiming American cities from gang violence, emphasizing the successful collaboration between the FBI, Philadelphia Police, and the U. S. Attorney’s Office.

• The organization allegedly enforced its territory through violent means such as shootings, murder, and assaults; however, no significant murder or shooting charges have been filed yet.

• The leaders of the organization are identified as:

• Jose Antonio Morales Nieves, 45, from Puerto Rico, known as ‘Flaco’

• Ramon Roman-Montanez, 40, and Nancy Rios-Valentin, 33, both from Philadelphia.
