DC Judge Lets 'Big Balls' Attackers Walk Free

A Washington DC judge, Kendra Biggs, has decided not to jail two teenagers who attacked Edward Coristine, a former DOGE staff member known as 'Big Balls. ' Instead, the judge sentenced them to probation, sparking public outrage.

• The teens, aged 15, pleaded guilty to charges related to their attack on Coristine. One teen admitted to attempted robbery and felony assault in another incident, while the female attacker accepted a plea for simple assault.

• Judge Biggs emphasized her role is to rehabilitate rather than punish, leading to probation instead of jail time.

• President Trump criticized this decision, calling it “terrible” and suggesting the judge should feel ashamed.

• US Attorney for DC, Jeanine Pirro, expressed shock at the leniency of the sentence, while White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt highlighted a need for stricter law enforcement regarding juvenile crime.

• The attack occurred in a nightlife area of D. C. where the teens and others allegedly engaged in violent behavior.

• Coristine voiced concerns about the ongoing threat from the group responsible for the attack, stressing the importance of addressing such crimes to ensure safety.

• As part of their sentence, the teens must complete 90 hours of community service and keep away from each other and cars without permission.

The light punishment for the teens involved in a violent attack has drawn significant criticism and raised concerns about juvenile justice in Washington D. C.
