This inquiry is part of a broader investigation being conducted by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.

2. Request for Documentation: In his letters, Johnson has requested detailed records including:

• Names and titles of employees involved in vaccine development.

• A complete list of entities involved in the testing and creation of their vaccines.

• All communications relating to vaccine development between these companies and federal entities since January 2020.

3. Concerns About Vaccine Safety: Johnson’s inquiry comes amidst growing concerns over the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. For instance, there have been reports of increased risks, such as myocarditis in young men, linked to the mRNA vaccines.

4. Communication with Big Tech: Johnson also demands records of communications between these pharmaceutical companies and major technology firms regarding adverse events connected to the vaccines. He specifically mentions companies like Google, Facebook, and Twitter.

5. Government and Big Tech Collaboration: The senator points out that the Biden administration has been involved in efforts to censor information regarding vaccine safety on social media, raising concerns about First Amendment rights.

6. Deadline for Compliance: Johnson has set a deadline for the pharmaceutical companies to respond to his requests by April 16.
