This solution is the Gold Standard for Elections, and we at SC Safe Election are making it happen.
Our whitepaper outlines the gold standard for optimizing security, transparency, verifiability, and accessibility in all four stages of the election process. You can view it here. Many of us have participated in trials and demonstrations, and we can attest that we can count ballots efficiently—and it is fun!
We must “unplug” our elections from the internet, machines, and third parties.

In his presentation at the Republican Governor’s meeting, Trump made it clear that he is serious about implementing a paper ballot system.
Specifically, he stated that paper ballots with watermarks should be used and machines and computers shouldn’t. Our Gold Standards Election whitepaper outlines this method, which we tested with volunteers statewide. In the meantime, our election director is trying to allocate funds in the 2025 fiscal budget to purchase ES&S DS300 tabulators (the machines where you scan your ballot after marking them). Given that federal funds for electronic election systems may be eliminated and that there will be an impetus for an “unplugged system,” they should rethink that expenditure. Another critical issue is significant security issues with the DS300 tabulators that the SEC wants to purchase to replace the DS200s.
Please take a look at this article and interview with cybersecurity expert Julie Baker for more information.

By the way, all of your calls and emails worked as the regulations that the State SEC was trying to pass were put on hold. These are currently over in the Senate, so we must work that side of the legislature.
We are working diligently behind the scenes with election experts nationwide to affect change at the national level. Expect big things, and they will happen!
Keep the faith,
