State House and State Senate as they continue to work on their 2025 Legislative priorities.

Kicking "DEI" OUT of South Carolina:

H.3927 will remove any Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies from our state's agencies and universities and will ban the use of taxpayer dollars to advance this woke, far-left insanity.

Following President Trump's executive order, this bill will restore an even playing field for South Carolinians and ensure employers hire based on merit, not political ideology.

South Carolina Energy Security Act:

H.3309, the South Carolina Energy Security Act, has PASSED in the House and will now head to the Senate! This bill aims at protecting our state's future in energy dominance. There's no doubt about it, SC is growing, and growing fast! This will ensure we have reliable, affordable power to keep up with our booming economy—without federal mandates or unnecessary red tape. If passed, this legislation will expand nuclear, natural gas, hydrogen, and renewables to power our future.

We want SC to be both energy-independent AND energy-dominant and if passed, that's what this legislation will help accomplish!

Cracking Down on Organized Retail Crime:

H.3523, has PASSED in the House and will now head to the Senate! This bill is taking a strong stance against career criminals in SC— no more soft-on-crime policies and no more revolving door for criminals. We have to support our law enforcement when it comes to preventing crime, and if passed, this bill will give law enforcement the tools to take down smash-and-grab gangs, punish repeat offenders, and protect South Carolina businesses.

President Trump believes in law and order and here in South Carolina, we're putting in the work to make that a reality!

School Choice in South Carolina:

S.62, the Education Scholarship Trust Fund, has PASSED in the Senate and will now head to the House! This bill makes educational freedom a reality for every student in South Carolina, regardless of where they live or who they are. It's simple— every child in our state deserves an education that helps them achieve their full potential and every parent deserves the opportunity to send their child to the school that best fits their needs.

School choice is fundamental to the values of the Republican Party and if passed, our state will prioritize investing in students, not just schools.
