A radio station owned by George Soros has reportedly identified and exposed federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers involved in tracking down criminals in San Jose, California, which is known for its violent gangs. This action, referred to as doxing, could enable suspects to avoid capture or even harm the officers involved. A report mentions that the station broadcast live details of three unmarked vehicles used by ICE, revealing their descriptions and locations during an ongoing operation against violent foreign nationals.
The situation took place on January 26, when a radio host mistakenly provided information about the undercover vehicles based on social media posts from a group that opposes deportation of illegal immigrants. The station's reporting was confirmed by San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and local council member Peter Ortiz, who acknowledged the presence of ICE agents in that part of town. The rapid response network, which assists immigrant communities, was the initial source of information about the ICE activities.
This incident occurs as federal authorities, under the direction of President Trump, carry out mass deportation efforts focused on illegal immigrants accused of serious crimes. Soros recently became the majority owner of Audacity, Inc. , the parent company of the radio station in question. His foundation promotes support for migrants and asylum seekers through various initiatives.
