President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday said he has "no choice" but to carry-out mass deportations because of the surge of migrants who are living in the country illegally that entered the U.S. during the Biden administration.
When people have killed and murdered, when drug lords have destroyed countries, and now they’re going to go back to those countries because they’re not staying here.
"We obviously have to make the border strong and powerful and, and we have to — at the same time, we want people to come into our country," Trump told NBC News.

Trump promised to strengthen border security and crack down on illegal immigration during his presidency if he was elected back to the White House.
The comments come as Republicans warn of higher crime rates and national security concerns about the Biden administration's border policies.
Trump’s first task is herculean: closing the border.
