Lies Lies Lies (Of the Democrats)… Biden Has No Reverse Gear… And More!

Kamala Harris says inflation was high when Trump left office in 2020.

Her campaign surrogates claim that Trump called the neo-Nazis in Charlottsville, Virginia "Good people." Another lie.

One should expect that the barrage of falsehoods will continue up to Election Day and likely beyond if Trump wins and the Democrats try to disqualify his victory under the claim of "Insurrectionist" on January 6, 2025.

He practically ignored Vance at times and kept talking about Trump, Trump, Trump in a highly disparaging way.

The viewers were likely asking, "Why are you attacking Trump instead of telling us what you would do if elected?" Walz seemed weak and nervous at key points, especially as the dialogue on climate change wore on.

Vance countered Walz's lines about Trump by draping Kamala Harris around his neck.

The lawsuits against Donald Trump in a campaign called lawfare by the Democrats are either behind us or are on hold.

The first was a civil suit by a known sex fiend who owned a cat named Vagina that alleged that Trump assaulted her in a dressing room at a New York Department store.

There were no witnesses and no corroborating evidence, but a New York jury still managed to deliver a judgment of over $70 million against Trump.

Then there was another civil lawsuit in the Bronx alleging trivial business records violations against Trump on an application for a loan that was repaid on time and in full.

The New York business records and hush money cases were brought by elected prosecutors who bragged that they would "Get Trump" if elected.

Here's the scorecard: The hush money case resulted in 32 criminal convictions of Trump but is on appeal with a good chance of being overturned.

The January 6 case may go forward late this year but will likely also result in any conviction being overturned on the same grounds that the prosecutor was illegally appointed or that Trump is immune under the Supreme Court's decision in Trump v. United States.

The Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court hearing an appeal of the $550 million plus judgement in the business records case expressed skepticism that the relevant statute was ever intended to be used in the way the prosecutor applied it to Trump.

IV. Biased Judge Bends the Rules to Hurt Trump on Jan 6th Case While the trial stages of the many lawfare cases against Trump are on hold for the moment, some of the cases are still quite active in terms of appeals or pre-trial motions.

One of the most active has been the January 6th case against Trump in the DC Federal District Court.

The Supreme Court then remanded the case to the District Court for further proceedings on whether the alleged acts of Donald Trump around the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riot were core duties, non-core duties or outside the scope of official duties.

Letting the prosecution go first and making the complaint public amounted to holding a trial of Trump without the benefit of a defense.

The idea was to hurt Trump before the election even if the trial will not actually be held until after the election.

Smith had to delete a lot of material because it fell squarely in Trump's core duties to which immunity attaches.

Even if Trump is convicted in this case at the trial level, it's ripe for reversal at the appellate level.

The best outcome is for Trump to win the election and dismiss the entire case.
