Speaker Mike Johnson Blasts Joe Biden in His First Floor Speech — Releases Document Citing 64 Cases of Biden Regime’s Efforts to Weaken Border Security and Promote Illegal Immigration

House Speaker Mike Johnson has accused President Biden of intentionally creating a border crisis, leading to a surge in illegal border crossings and overwhelming enforcement efforts. This situation, Johnson claims, poses a clear and present danger to national security.

Since Biden's term began, there have been over 700,000 illegal entries, with more than 300 individuals on the terror watchlist apprehended at the border. The Speaker emphasized the potential threats of illegal aliens, stating that there have been over 7 million encounters with illegal aliens at the southern border alone, with at least 1.8 million 'gotaways' who have escaped detection.

The surge in fentanyl trafficking has also been attributed to the influx of illegal drugs across the border, resulting in a spike in overdose deaths in the U.S.

Johnson outlined actions by the Biden administration that have directly contributed to the border crisis, including the revocation of Executive Order 9844, which ended the construction of the border wall, and the termination of the Migrant Protection Protocols.

The Speaker's office released a report detailing 64 instances of how the Biden regime has compromised border security measures and promoted policies that may encourage illegal immigration:

The first 20:

1. Termination of the National Emergency at the Southwest border (Proclamation 9844)

2. Entrenching the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program

3. Unveiling the U.S. Citizenship Act, providing amnesty to millions of illegal aliens

4. Revoking Executive Order ensuring meaningful enforcement of U.S. immigration laws

5. Ending limitations and restrictions against immigration from terrorism-associated countries

6. Implementing a 100-day moratorium on deportations and immigration enforcement

7. Suspending the Asylum Cooperative Agreements with El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras

8. Voluntarily stopping Title 42 expulsions for children, leading to a major wave of UACs

9. Exempting UACs from Title 42 expulsion requirements

10. Speeding up releases of UACs

11. Losing track of 20,000 UACs and expanding detention to house an additional 20,000 children

12. Reinstating the Central American Minors (CAM) program

13. Focusing on processing illegal aliens instead of enforcement (catch-and-release)

14. Issuing Notices to Report (NTR) instead of Notices to Appear (NTA) for court dates

15. Expanding detention space for UACs in unlicensed facilities

16. Rolling back requirements for background checks on adults in UAC sponsor households

17. Canceling further wall construction led by the Department of Defense

18. Expanding the Central American Minors (CAM) program to broader family groups

19. Rescinding Trump-era decisions on asylum eligibility, expanding asylum claims

20. Releasing over 100,000 aliens without Notices to Appear, advising them to self-repo

These actions and policies have directly contributed to the border crisis, undermining security measures and encouraging illegal immigration.
