Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis finally responded Sunday to accusations leveled last week by one of Donald Trump's co-defendants, who claimed in a court filing that she was romantically involved with an outside lawyer she hired to prosecute a racketeering case against the former president and his allies.
Taking the pulpit on Sunday at Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, a historic Black church in Atlanta, Willis defended her hiring of special prosecutor Nathan Wade on account of his "Impeccable credentials."
"First thing they'll say, 'Oh, she's going to play the racism card now.' But no, God, isn't it them who are playing the race card when they only questioned one?".
The only possible reason conservatives are attacking Fani Willis is because she's black, can't be because of the Trump prosecution.
Trump has had some things to say about Jack Smith and Robert Mueller and other investigators and prosecutors who were white.
Peter Strzok was similarly nailed on adultery and he's a very white man.
Fani Willis knows that the stuff she's spewing is nonsense.
