Boudin complains that San Francisco made a "Hard turn to the right" by electing "Centrists" and prosecuting crime.
"Look at the fact that the city is home to more billionaires per capita than probably any other jurisdiction in the world. Look at the fact that the city's made a hard turn to the right in the last couple of years. Look at the fact that the politicians that have come out of San Francisco on the national stage are anything but progressive: they're mainstream centrist Democrats, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, etc."
Like a lot of hard lefties, inhabits an imaginary alternate reality in which America is dominated by a heavily organized right whose only opponents are a handful of passionate leftist activists regularly sold out by the Democrat establishment.
In the usual socialist fashion, Boudin whines about billionaires despite the fact that he drew the support of a working-class guy named George Soros.
Let's pause for a moment to consider the revealing worldview of the Left in which a "Hard turn to the right" isn't electing Republicans, it's electing "Centrists".
In the worldview of the Left, Pelosi is a turn to the right.
As is Mayor London Breed and DA Brooke Jenkins, who tick every lefty box except letting criminals take over the city, represent a "Hard turn to the right".
