The article discussed the supposed effect legislation banning "Gender-affirming care" for minors and gender ideology in schools is having on those who identify as LGBTQ. North Dakota State Sen. Ryan Braunberger said it is "Frustrating" and "Maddening" to serve as a gay lawmaker in a state where these laws are being passed.
The reality is that most of the laws being passed are designed to protect children, something that Democrats do not seem to be on board with.
These laws are protecting parental rights by preventing schools from helping their children "Transition" to the opposite gender without their parents' knowledge or consent.
These laws are intended also to prevent classrooms and school libraries from presenting sexually explicit material to children.
Is there a chance some of these laws are flawed? Sure.
There is nothing about these laws that could erase anyone even if that were the intention.
