Bundlers are people with friends in high places who, after bumping against personal contribution limits, turn to those friends, associates, and, well, anyone who's willing to give, and deliver the checks to the candidate.
The Federal Election Commission requires disclosure only of those bundlers who are registered lobbyists. Beyond that, it's up to the candidate.
Recent presidential candidates, with the exception of Donald Trump, chose to voluntarily disclose their bundlers. In November 2020, Biden released a list of individuals who raised at least $100,000 for his presidential campaign. Biden's list does not provide details about how much each individual raised, making it less transparent than Barack Obama's list that grouped bundlers by different ranges of money they raised.
