George Soros Donates $1 Million to Wisconsin Democrats Ahead of State Supreme Court Election

 As the state of Wisconsin prepares for a crucial election that will determine control of the state Supreme Court, far-left billionaire George Soros has donated heavily to Democrats in a bid to turn the swing state into a solidly blue state.

According to Fox News, Soros made his donation of $1 million to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin on February 22nd, which amounted to one of the two largest donations to the party in the last several months; Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker also donated $1 million.

The two donations combined make up roughly 30 percent of all money donated to the party between February 7th and March 20th, during which the party raised a total of $6.6 million.

Early voting has already begun in Wisconsin, with the general election set to take place on April 4th. The race is between Democrat Janet Protasiewicz and Republican Daniel Kelly; Protasiewicz is a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge, while Kelly is a former justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

The Wisconsin Democrats have poured millions into Protasiewicz's campaign, which could make it the most expensive state Supreme Court election in modern history.

"It's off the charts in terms of the stakes, it's off the charts in terms of how much money is likely to be invested on both sides, it's off the charts in terms of the number of people who are voting." The race will determine the successor to Justice Patience Roggensack, a conservative member of the court, which currently has a 4-3 conservative majority.

If Protasiewicz were to win, it would flip the court to a 4-3 liberal majority, which could have widespread implications for numerous key laws in the state, including election integrity, legislative redistricting, and abortion.
