Things Worth Considering 3

 This should not even be a point of discussion but one liberal Supreme Court Justice made it one because she is not for Constitutional Justice but FOR DEMOCRAT PARTY POLICY Justice. With that bias she needs to resign because she rules not on the basis of what the Constitution demands but what are the prevailing interests of her beloved all surperior Democrat party.  This woman is a danger to our Constitutional Federal Republic.  She actually thinks the Supreme Court should favor one political party's (her party) interests over another rregardless what the very words of the Constitution mean. She is unfit for her seat on the Court. This item deals with the matter. My comments follow.

       Radical left-wing Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan is still whining about the Supreme Court ending the historical mistake of imposing nationwide abortion on demand forced on the nation by unelected judges who unilaterally created “rights” out of thin air. Justice Kagan expressed the view commonly held on the Left that unless Democrats control every institution and win every policy fight then the American system lacks legitimacy. In this case, Kagan argued the Supreme Court was not legitimate because Democrats lost a single court case.

        The very worst moments [in the court’s history] have been times when judges have even essentially reflected one party’s or one ideology’s set of views in their legal decisions,” Kagan claimed. “The thing that builds up reservoirs of public confidence is the court acting like a court and not acting like an extension of the political process.”

        And naturally, Kagan said Democrats not controlling the Supreme Court and winning every major case meant American democracy was in peril. “If, over time, the Court loses all connection with the public and with public sentiment, that is a dangerous thing for democracy,” Kagan concluded. This was too much even for center-left Chief Justice John Roberts who voted with the liberals to keep Roe v. Wade on the books.

       “Simply because people disagree with an opinion is not a basis for questioning the legitimacy of the Court,” Roberts said in response to Kagan’s comments. Justice Samuel Alito offered the sharpest response to Kagan’s attacks on American democracy, slamming Kagan for crossing a line in saying the Court was “illegitimate.”

        “It goes without saying that everyone is free to express disagreement with our decisions and to criticize our reasoning as they see fit,” Alito stated. “But saying or implying that the court is becoming an illegitimate institution or questioning our integrity crosses an important line.” Democrats like to falsely claim they are defending American democracy. But in reality, the true attacks on democracy exclusively come from the Left in the form of their calls to blow up the entire American system while disregarding Constitutional norms, just because they lose an election, policy fight, or Court case.

         It’s left-wing extremists who want to junk the Electoral College, abolish the filibuster, and pack the Supreme Court in response to coming out on the losing end of electoral, legal, or legislative battles. And if the Left got their way, American democracy would no longer exist as the nation would function as an authoritarian, one-party state. Just like China or California."      Samuel Alito smacked down a liberal Supreme Court Justice for crossing one major line - Conservative Underground News 

         I challenge her egotistical and completly wrong-headed logic. She is intellectually and ethically unfit for the Court. That she was an Obama nominee should shed light on the Democrat party's real motives. She is perfectly okay if the Court was filled with all Democrat because all Democrat supported cases would pass right through the Court like greased lightning. That would satisfy her left-wing constituents but leave everyone else without any voice. She does not understand the basic reason we are NOT a Democracy - It is because a democracy is mob rule of 50.1 % over the rest of the country. That is exactly why the Founders installed the balance of powers rule of the three co-equal branches of government (To Keep Check on Eachother - so no one could become more powerful than the others - which is now the case with the Executive Branch - and Joe Biden's thinking that he is our dictator) and the Electoral College which makes certain that  ALL STATES, regardless of population, HAVE EQUAL STANDING IN FEDERAL ELECTIONS. That is also why Democrats favor Court Packing with their left-wing pals. Unfortunately, the Democrat party hates those Constitutional provisions because they prevent them from taking full control of our Country. Which is exactly what they want. Elena Kagan is an example of just why left-wing poltical operatives are so very dangerous to a free, open, fair society where ALL individual citizens are equal regardless of status, race, ethnicity, gender or religion. That is exactly what they do not like...

      Hence, this discussion highlights the flawed sense of self-righteousness with matters such as Abortion which by any definition is Murder of an innocent human being. That is not a politically sanctionable right. Neither is it a right for any reason given by any govenment to any individual. Nor is it a God given right. Thou Shall Not Kill is God's commandment to His creation, period. Governments run by flawed human beings cannot overide what God has commanded. The only right to do so is self-defense. Your life vs the life of someone with intent to kill you. Having a baby does come close to fitting that circumstance. The truth is that getting pregnant is an inconvenience and Abortion is the selfish solution chosen under the guize of "her right to choose" or "her body, her choice," or "her right to healthcare, or any other mantra. All are false narratives to excuse the willful murder of a helpless and innocent living human being. In making these comments I DO NOT excuse the male partner who participated in the creation of an unwanted child. If he supports having an abortion he is just as guilty as all of the people involved in the inhumane business of infanticide.

      The solution is not abortion. The solution is to restore morality and a respect for the purpose of sexual intercourse as well as a hightened respect for human life. That will not happen until and unless we return to our roots as a nation of religious citizens who cherish life, family,  and individual and religious freedoms. In addition, we must embrace being respectful of all people and develop a hightened sense of righteous thinking and behavior in all matters.
