Mayorkas Lives In An Alternate Reality

"If a longer dialogue is occurring, it may be appropriate to ask the individual their preferred pronouns." Consider the tone of your questions and wording when addressing an individual and inquiring about their self-identified pronouns or identity. You may ask, "Can you please confirm your pronouns or gender identity?". "If an incorrect pronoun is used and corrected by the individual, acknowledge the oversight and use the correct pronoun." Correct an individual's stated pronoun or gender identity. "There may be instances where a person's stated pronoun/gender may be different than the pronoun gender reflected on their official identification. You should not correct or disagree with the person's self-identified pronoun/gender". God help you if you use the wrong pronoun to refer to the transgender illegal you just caught breaking our laws and walking across our border.  https://andmagazine.substack.com/p/mayorkas-lives-in-an-alternate-...

New COVID Variant Spreading in US, but Risk Is Low

Compared to Eris, BA.2.86 has a significantly lower growth efficiency, meaning that it is less capable of replicating itself in the human bodies. The current dominant variant is H.V.1, and it is derived from the variant EG.5, unofficially known as Eris, a previously dominant variant in the United States. Research outside of the United States similarly suggests that Pirola should not be more severe than current variants. A preprint study from Japan found that while Pirola may be more transmissible than Eris a previous dominant variant, it is less likely to cause disease. Prior Infections Gives Immunity Against the New Variant Compared to BA.2, its ancestral subvariant, Pirola has more than 30 mutations in its spike protein. Mr. Cao's own research in mice who have been vaccinated or infected with XBB vaccines showed that the antibodies generated "Cannot well recognize and neutralize BA.2.86," he wrote in a thread posted on the social media platform, X. However, Pirola had ...

Our Public Health Agencies Are Still Up To Their Old Tricks

Pfizer failed to inform pregnant women participating in its clinical trial for the respiratory syncytial virus vaccine that the clinical trial of a similar vaccine by GlaxoSmithKline was halted after a safety signal revealed a potential risk of preterm births leading to neonatal deaths. Would you risk RSV vaccine side effects on your unborn child for that? The FDA's VRBPAC committee cleared the shot even though four of the 14 committee memberssaid Pfizer's data was inadequate to support its safety.... Dr. Hana El Sahly, VRBPAC chairwoman, said the signal showing an increased risk of preterm births associated with Pfizer's RSV vaccine was "Significant" in phases two and three of its clinical trial and "In a very similar product that was given, you know, on another study." The seasonal influenza vaccine was only 48 percent effective overall at reducing the risk of influenza-A-associated emergency department or urgent care visits, and only 40 percent effec...

Drugs and Price Controls

Polling data indicates that the issues Democrats care most about are not the same as what independent voters, those who will decide the 2024 election, care about. There is one issue that sounds good and could move votes: the cost of prescription drugs. In the Venn diagram of issues Democrats care about and independent voters care about, there isn't a lot of overlap. Democrats care deeply about abortion access, independents care about being able to afford food for their families. First, while the drug industry does not elicit any sympathy from people, Deloitte estimated the cost of bringing a new drug to market at more than $2 billion. If the government implements price controls, drug companies will not invest the billions to create new drugs and bring them to market if there is zero chance to recoup those costs. As part of the "Inflation Reduction Act," congressional Democrats gave the Biden administration the ability to "Negotiate" the price of certain drugs i...

'Bombshell' Video: Why Officer Brian Sicknick's Death Was 'Planted'

There's growing evidence that violence by police officers themselves triggered the crowd of protesters, some of whom later turned into rioters, during that infamous confrontation at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Kelly concluded that police were desperate to cover up their own "Brutality" that day, and so they launched the Sicknick death claim, "a fabricated story" and "Intentionally" planted to cover up the deaths of four Trump supporters that day. One of those was Ashli Babbitt, who was shot point-blank by a police officer and died. Three other Trump supporters also died, and Kelly explained at least two of those deaths were due to "Police excessive force." Ashli Babbitt Ashli Babbitt Then authorities cremated the victims' bodies, without family permission, so that no evidence would remain. She said it was during a court hearing for the Proud Boys in a Washington courtroom some months ago a police officer admitted "When they st...

Biden Gets Off Unscathed While DOJ Sweats And Slaves To Imprison Trump Over Mishandling Of Classified Documents

According to a report by CNN, two sources confirmed that special counsel Robert Hur, who was appointed to investigate President Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents at two locations, is not going to charge anyone. BREAKING: CNN announces that Special Counsel Robert Hur will NOT be bringing charges against ANYONE in connection to his investigation of how then-Vice President Biden and his team over how they handled classified documents. Biden's legal team prepared to search his other properties for any similar documents and discussed with the DoJ the prospect of having FBI agents present while Biden's lawyers conducted the additional searches. Critics could not help but wonder why the DoJ is working so hard to imprison 2024 presidential poll leader former President Donald Trump over mishandling classified documents when Hur will let Biden off just like that over the same charges. It can be noted that Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted Trump in June with 37 counts ...

As The US Treasury Runs Out Of Creditors, Its Options Dwindle

Are the chickens coming home to roost for the US Treasury? As Ryan McMaken noted in a recent Mises Wire article, the United States is in a debt spiral and there's no easy way out. On top of all of this, the US Treasury is running out of buyers for its debt. The Fed, which has always been a ready buyer of government debt with newly created money, is allowing its holdings of US Treasury securities to roll off its balance sheet. Like the Fed, foreign governments such as China and Japan are also reducing their purchases of Treasurys, leaving the US with a smaller customer base for its debt. Everybody's appetite for US government debt is running low, and that includes foreigners, the government's own money printer, and favored financial institutions. Treasury yields skyrocket as the whole world loses confidence in the US government's ability to repay its debts. The US government performs a "Soft default," similar to its actions in the 1930s and in 1971, in which th...

Arizona grand jury indicts two Cochise County supervisors on election related charges

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced a state Superior Court grand jury indictment against Cochise County Supervisors Peggy Judd and Tom Crosby related to actions in the aftermath of the 2022 midterm election. Even though the county leans heavily Republican, the supervisors are being charged for not following the proper deadline to approve the county's election results, which included around 47,000 votes, for the statewide canvass. Both Judd and Crosby are being charged with one count of conspiracy and one count of interference with an election officer. "I took an oath to uphold the rule of law, and my office will continue to enforce Arizona's elections laws and support our election officials as they carry out the duties and responsibilities of their offices." The charges are both class 5 felonies, which carry a minimum of six months behind bars if someone is convicted. The conspiracy charge alleges that the supervisors were looking at stalling on approving r...

OMG Goes Undercover Into Congressional Staffer to Report on Chinese Funded Bio Lab

US Congressman Jim Costa's top congressional staffer, Daniel Sepulveda, admits the illegal Chinese biolab poses a grave risk to public health and national security. Asked if his boss, thinks the lab endangered public safety. “Yes, he does,” Sepulveda stated into a button cameras: "I saw they had a secret recording the Lab Owner saying he was doing it to benefit the Chinese government" "I knew months before anybody else did" "How many other people are creating labs within the United States?" …”There could be more” Thanks to a volunteer citizen journalist, we were able to confront the staffer and ask some important questions. We wanted to know if there are other labs operating in the same way, and what the implications might be of China operating a bioweapons program on American soil. As you may have guessed, Sepulveda wasn’t interested in going on the record.  Video Here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vigOxdCn5CA

Conservatives Call Foul On Move To Extend Deep State Surveillance

House and Senate conservatives on Wednesday sounded the alarm on a potential move by congressional leadership to extend a deep state surveillance law in a defense bill. "Reauthorization of FISA can't be hooked to anything. The federal GOV has spied on Americans [who] decided to go to Church or you went to a school board meeting. This needs to end. Reauthorization needs to stand on its own, and have significant reform," House Freedom Caucus Chairman Scott Perry said during a press conference with the House Freedom Caucus and Senate conservatives. The conservatives held their press conference as congressional leaders are contemplating passing a temporary extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which conservatives vehemently oppose. Other conservatives also said in no uncertain terms that Section 702 of FISA should not be included in the NDAA. Rep. Ben Cline wrote, "We know that the FBI has abused the FISA process and spied on Americans. W...

Lawless Letitia James Hits Back After Deutsche Bank Testimony Blows Hole in New York AG’s Case Against Trump

New York Attorney General Letitia James's office responded to testimony by a Deutsche Bank executive that could have torpedoed her civil fraud case against Trump. Radical Marxist New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking $250 million in 'damages' when there is no victim in this fraud case and she is also seeking to ban Trump and his sons from operating any businesses in New York. A Deutsche Bank executive who worked to approve at least one of Trump's loans testified on Tuesday that it is "Atypical, but not entirely unusual" to reduce a client's asset values and still approve a loan. "A Deutsche Bank AG executive gave testimony that could bolster Donald Trump's defense in his civil fraud trial, telling a New York judge that prospective clients can get loans even after reporting a net worth far higher than the lender's own calculations." Bloomberg reported. "The Nicest I've Ever Owned" "David Williams, who worked...

Biden DOJ Collects List of Every Person Who Followed, Retweeted or Mentioned Donald Trump on Twitter

Court documents released Monday by the Justice Department show that special counsel Jack Smith successfully obtained access to everyone who liked, retweeted or mentioned Donald Trump on Twitter, now known as X. The search warrant, issued in January by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, is part of Smith's investigation into Trump's actions leading up to the Capitol incursion of Jan. 6, 2021. The release of the documents came as a result of a lawsuit brought by a consortium of media organizations seeking to bring sunlight to the special counsel's probe into Trump, the New York Post reported. Conservative podcaster and attorney Eric Matheny responded to the warrant's release highlighting, "If you liked or retweeted Trump's tweets - the DOJ wants to know. Special Counsel Jack Smith's search warrant for Trump's Twitter account specifically seeks lists of Twitter users who engaged with Trump's account." "This government is out...

California Pumped Nearly $100 Million In Tax Credits Into Two Harmful TV Series: "13 Reasons Why" And "Euphoria"

While Gavin Newsom locked down K-12 public schools, forcing students into remote learning from home, two harmful television series were airing - funded with $94.2 million from California's Film and TV Tax Credit program. "13 Reasons Why," seasons 1-4, produced by Paramount, received $45.8 million in reserved tax credits. "Euphoria," the pilot and seasons 1-3, produced by Warner Brothers, received $48.4 million in reserved tax credits. Although "13 Reasons Why" was last selected for its tax credits while Newsom was Lt. Governor, "Euphoria" received its last tranche of credits while Newsom was governor and will air in 2024. The state of California runs a $330 million annual tax credit program through the California Film Commission, intended to incentivize filmmakers to produce their projects in the Golden State. Netflix, one of the biggest winners of California tax credits, previously told shareholders that it has more credits than it can use,...

Limited Hangout: Robert Kadlec Forced To Cover For Fauci?

Dr. Robert Kadlec was a high ranking official in the US Government's Preparedness and Response Department. Robert Kadlec Background: An American physician and career officer in the United States Air Force, specializing in biological weapons. Kadlec spent 26 years as a career officer and physician in the United States Air Force. In April 2020, Kadlec worked with Dr. Peter Marks, director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research at the Food and Drug Administration to develop OWS. Former CIA officer Dr. Michael Callahan, present in Wuhan in late 2019 or early 2020 under the guise of his Harvard appointment where he obtained detailed knowledge of CCP COVID medical management practices, and subsequently manager of the Diamond Princess outbreak response, manager of the NYC tent hospital program, and manager of initial USG COVID interventions in nursing homes, reported directly to Kadlec and actively sought to protect Kadlec. FDA Shuts Down Enquiries About DNA Contamination In Covid Vaccines

The recent findings of DNA fragments in the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines has led many to question why the FDA, which is responsible for monitoring the quality and safety of the vaccines, has failed to sound the alarm. For years, the FDA has known about the risk posed by residual DNA in vaccines. "Residual DNA might be a risk to your final product because of oncogenic and/or infectivity potential. There are several potential mechanisms by which residual DNA could be oncogenic, including the integration and expression of encoded oncogenes or insertional mutagenesis following DNA integration." The authors found "The presence of billions to hundreds of billions of DNA molecules per dose in these vaccines. Using fluorometry all vaccines exceed the guidelines for residual DNA set by FDA and WHO of 10 ng/dose." The US Food and Drug Administration continues to insist that any residual DNA contamination in the Covid vaccines is not a problem and that it "Stands...

US Spends Billions On Overseas Wars, But Who Really Benefits?

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the money will "Flow through our defense industrial base, creating American jobs in more than 30 states." Defense Contractor Windfall Numerous analysts believe that the administration's supplemental spending request, in addition to its record-breaking defense funding, would effectively serve as a massive transfer of wealth to the defense sector from U.S. taxpayers. Stephen Semler, co-founder of the Security Policy Reform Institute think tank, said defense contractors stand to reap billions from the administration's requested supplemental spending request, which would go "Mostly to just a few companies." The larger issue is the record-breaking defense spending undertaken by the administration and Congress, culminating with last year's record-largest defense budget, according to Mr. Semler. Defense Lobby Incentivizing Conflict A key concern of Mr. Semler and others is the continued incentivization of conflict, in which ...

DC Judge Denies Trump Request For Subpoenas Of J6 Committee Materials

D.C. District Judge Tanya Chutkan has denied former President Donald Trump's motion to subpoena records from the House of Representatives' Jan. 6 committee, arguing that his requests are like a fishing expedition. President Trump's initial motion from Oct. 11 requested purportedly "Missing materials" that the House Select Committee on Jan. 6 had allegedly failed to preserve and transfer to another congressional committee. Fox News reported in August that Rep. Barry Loudermilk, chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration, accused the select committee of failing to provide certain communications with the Biden administration, as well as video recordings of depositions and interviews leveraged by the select committee. "As the missing records are currently unavailable, the requested subpoenas would not be duplicative of any other records either publicly available or produced in discovery." Issued on Nov. 27, the order ...

Deutsche Bank May Have Just Destroyed Letitia James’ Civil Fraud Case Against Trump

"David Williams, who worked on at least one of three loans Deutsche Bank made to Trump in the years before he was elected president, testified Tuesday that it's"Atypical, but not entirely unusual" for the bank to cut a client's stated asset value by 50% and approve a loan anyway, as it did with Trump," Bloomberg reported. Late last month far-left New York Judge Arthur Engoron blasted Trump's lawyers and said fining Trump for 'illegal prof...

Another "Green" FAIL: Recycled Plastic Found To Be Environmentally UNFRIENDLY And Saturated With Toxic Chemicals

Most people now seem to realize that plastic containers for food and beverages are not exactly the best material to use due to leaching, but what about recycled plastic containers? It turns out that those are even worse. Recycled plastics, due to the various lives they lived before being recycled, tend to be contaminated with even more deadly chemicals than virgin plastics. Among the toxins found in recycled plastics are chemical pesticides, pharmaceutical residues and various industrial chemicals. This is exactly what millions of people unknowingly do every single day when they drink from recycled plastic bottles or eat from recycled plastic containers. Virgin plastic is bad enough as it is, but recycled plastic is even worse. "We need a fundamentally different approach that turns the tap off on new plastic production," argues Dr. Andrew Forrest, chairman of the Minderoo Foundation, about how a pivot away from plastic is desperately needed to protect public health and limit ...

Did Democrat 'Bird-Doggers' Disrupt Congress On January 6?

In doing research for a book on the women of January 6, I came across the curious case of Emanuel Jackson. On January 20, 2021, the Department of Justice charged Jackson with two counts of "Assault on a federal officer while armed with a deadly or dangerous weapon" and one count "Of unlawful entry on restricted building or grounds while armed with a dangerous or deadly weapon." The video backs up the DOJ. On March 18, 2021, News4 in Washington showed a clip of Jackson, baseball bat in hand, flailing at police officers in the crowded tunnel on the Capitol's west side. According to a study of the "January 6 Insurrectionists" by the Center for Policy and Research, Jackson was "Houseless and living in a transition housing center at the time he participated in the insurrection." In a hearing on March 17, Jackson's attorney argued for his release, citing Jackson's "Severe intellectual disability" and a history devoid of violence. ...

Speculation wild as Michelle Obama joins Clintons, Biden alone on Air Force One

No doubt, the Democratic Party and the establishment media are having a hard time selling President Joe Biden as a winning candidate. A whopping 54 percent of respondents to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll this month said he lacks "The competence to carry out the job of president" today, let alone for another four years. Could it be the woman who joined Biden and Bill and Hillary Clinton on Air Force One on Tuesday? Michelle Obama traveled with the president and the Clintons to former first lady Rosalynn Carter's funeral in Georgia without her husband, former President Barack Obama. Will Michelle Obama run for president in 2024? Yes No Enter your email Completing this poll entitles you to WND news updates free of charge. While the former first lady has publicly stated multiple times that she has no plans of running for president, the Democratic Party might be changing her tune. Its options are thin, especially in light of the fact that the Republican frontrunner, former Preside...

Meet the Senior CIA Official Who Posted Pro-Palestinian Images to Social Media

The senior CIA official who posted a pro-Palestinian image on Facebook in the wake of Hamas's deadly attack on Israel is associate deputy director for analysis Amy McFadden, the agency confirmed to the Washington Free Beacon. McFadden's criticism of Israel comes as President Joe Biden faces a revolt in the federal government over the Jewish state's military response in Gaza after Hamas's attacks left at least 1,400 dead, including 32 Americans. McFadden is one of the most senior officials within the CIA and was once responsible for overseeing the president's "Daily brief," a summary of classified intelligence, the Financial Times reported. In her role as associate deputy director for analysis, McFadden oversees the approval of all the agency's intelligence. Although McFadden's particular beliefs on Israel are unclear, she "Liked" one post by the International Crisis Group in the last week. McFadden's LinkedIn banner image is a graphi...

After Pledging $70 Million, Charles Koch Selects Nikki Haley as the Vessel to Remove His Trump Problem

Charles Koch, a man of notorious disposition who loves open borders and multinational trade - which puts him on the outside of the America First movement, had previously pledged to spend $70 million to remove President Trump. Today, Charles Koch selected Nikki Haley over Ron DeSantis to be the vessel for his effort. Via Daily Mail - The conservative U.S. political network headed by billionaire Charles Koch on Tuesday endorsed Nikki Haley for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, saying she was the best candidate to beat President Joe Biden next year. Her traditional conservative positions also align with the Koch network, which uses its money to push for tax cuts and less government regulation. 'Between her surging to second place in the polls since August and being well-positioned amongst supporters of the other candidates, she is in a strong position to gather more support,' said Emily Seidel, a senior adviser to the Koch group's Americans for Prosperity Action, in...

A Look Inside The Mayorkas Illegal Immigration Machine

The BorderLine is a weekly Daily Signal feature examining everything from the unprecedented illegal immigration crisis at the border to immigration's impact on cities and states throughout the land. In New York, the homeless shelters are full and city officials are running out of makeshift places to put the relentless stream of illegal aliens. Chicago plans to build a giant tent camp to hold 2,000 of the illegal aliens waiting for free housing. Massachusetts, a "Sanctuary" state nicknamed "Taxachussetts" for its historically high taxes, finally capped its free housing of illegal aliens at 7,500 people. The airport's manager gave the excuse that "They're paying passengers"-but who's paying? All of us are, through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and numerous other government grants paid to nongovernmental organizations that transport, shelter, feed, advise, and provide other "Wrap-around" services to illegal aliens coming to...

Everything you were fed about Floyd and Chauvin is a lie.

It's about the George Floyd incident in the summer of 2020, and it makes a very compelling case that everything you were fed about Floyd - and about Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis policeman in prison for, essentially, being the most proximate human being to Floyd as he died from a fentanyl overdose - is a lie. American cities - big ones, cities with NFL and NBA teams, cities with proud histories and Fortune 500 company headquarters - burned in the riots that followed Floyd's death. The George Floyd riot was a spring-loaded trap designed to damage Donald Trump - and the America that made him president. It ended up with Chauvin's knee pressing Floyd's upper torso to the pavement - something that was police procedure and part of officer training in Minneapolis, though Chauvin was denied the ability to present that in court later - in a vain attempt to get Floyd simply to comply with police commands. Maxine Waters, perhaps the most egregious rabble-rousing demagogue in Ame...

COP28: Who Matters? — Follow-up

One reader offered this chart in evidence: Of course, the chart is in percentages, and does show, on that basis, that the percentage of renewables has increase 10% while fossils fuels have dropped by 15%. But, what about COAL? The "Dirtiest" of all fossil fuels? 84% of the increase in coal consumption, worldwide, is the result of additional coal-fired power plants in China alone. Just to round out the set, another reader properly points outs that electrical generation is a small piece of the energy pie, and that Primary Energy is the much larger usage of fuels. What is the source of that primary energy?: What's the problem? Oh, you can't see the percentage that is renewable? The percentage that is nuclear? That's the point! If the IPCC world wishes to reduce fossil fuels use, it is the primary energy sector they must concentrate on. If the IPCC is to rein in fossil fuel consumption in just the electrical sector, China and India must agree to not only stop building...

Social Security Overpays Billions Under Leadership Of Racial Equity Activist

Under the leadership of a noted racial equity activist the Social Security Administration has mistakenly overpaid beneficiaries tens of billions of dollars, including a 65% spike in overpayments in one year. In 2023 the agency with a stated mission of ensuring equity and accessibility by addressing systemic barriers to participation and a commitment to providing services to underserved communities made a whopping $23 billion in overpayments, according to its latest Agency Financial Report. The figure is a marked increase over the already stunning $11.1 billion in overpayments that SSA erroneously made in 2022. SSA's dreadful habit of overpaying billions in benefits goes back years as American taxpayers get stuck with the hefty price because most of the money is never recovered. In the last few years, the agency has doled out between $6 billion and $7 billion in new overpayments annually, the new report reveals. Kijakazi is a renowned racial equity proponent with a storied career o...

Biden Admin Is Spending $451 BILLION a Year to Pay for Illegal Alien and Asylum Seeker Benefits

According to the House Committee on Homeland Security, the massive cost to house and take care of illegal aliens and so-called asylum seekers inside the US is $451 billion. FBN reporter Madison Alworth: "Stuart we have new numbers, a new report from the US House Committee on Homeland Security. They say the price tag per year is $451 billion dollars. That is for both the housing and care of the asylum seekers as well as those known got-aways." The House Committee on Homeland Security reported: Representative Mike Ezell recently authored an op-edfor Townhall on the financial costs affecting law enforcement and first responders as a direct result of the unprecedented border crisis. Christian Precious Metals Company Embraces Integrity to Protect Americans' Retirement This op-ed follows the release of the House Committee on Homeland Security's Phase Four interim report pursuant to the Committee's oversight investigation into how the policies of Department of Homeland S...

New Treatment May Restore Sense Of Smell In Patients With Long COVID

Using an image-guided minimally invasive procedure, researchers may be able to restore the sense of smell in patients who have suffered with long-COVID, according to research being presented next week at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America. While most patients do recover their sense of smell over time, some patients with long COVID continue to have these symptoms for months, or even years, after infection, negatively impacting their appetite for food and their overall quality of life. "Patients can develop a distaste for foods and drinks they used to enjoy." The distorted sense of smell can also affect smell perception, and some patients may suffer from phantosmia, a condition that causes people to detect smells-foul or pleasant-that aren't in their environment. To assess a possible treatment for patients with long-term post-COVID parosmia, researchers looked at the potential benefits of CT-guided stellate ganglion block. "We have been su...

January 6 Was A Mostly Peaceful Protest

It has been nearly three years since the January 6 Capitol protest. Prosecutor Jack Smith's indictment of Trump is almost a work of plagiarism: it uses the same bombastic language as the January 6 committee, tells the same worn narrative, and takes the same creative leaps in logic, although Smith is less candid with his charges; he is curiously reluctant to use the word "Insurrection." To spare the trouble of proving his audacious case, Smith opts for the imprecise and verbose "Events at the Capitol," a phrase that appears no less than 15 times in a recent filing. If January 6 was an insurrection, it was among the most orderly, and uneventful in modern history. They face charges for crimes like trespassing and "Obstruction of an official proceeding," a crime which prior to January 6 had never been used to target political protesters, much less an American president. The January 6 protesters have always been treated differently, not because of their act...

FDA Approves Pfizer's Maternal RSV Vaccine Despite Trial Safety Signals Of Increased Premature Birth

A recent article published in The British Medical Journal details the debate that has broken out over whether Pfizer should have told pregnant women participating in its trial of maternal respiratory syncytial virus vaccination that a trial of GSK's similar vaccine was halted over a safety signal around pre-term birth. Hana El Sahly, professor of molecular virology and microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine and committee chairwoman, said that the signal of increased preterm births connected to the Pfizer vaccine was "Significant in the phase 2, in the phase 3, and in a very similar product," adding that failing to design the Pfizer phase 3 study to deliver clarity was a "Big missed opportunity." Did Pfizer Afford Pregnant Women in its Trial Informed Consent? After GSK's trial was halted, opinion was split among clinical trial ethicists and some vaccine researchers over whether Pfizer should have informed all women participating in its trial about the pot...

Another Climate Snow Job

Northern Hemisphere snow cover that year was 7.14 million square miles. So far in 2023, snow is covering 7.23 million square miles of the Northern Hemisphere. If we add the snow in Greenland, the trend is not identical but nevertheless similar to that of North America alone. Both measurements show a growing decadal trend in snow coverage going back to 1967, as does snow coverage in Eurasia. Now comes Brian Brettschneider of the same National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, who, according to CNN, swears that "Snowfall is declining globally as temperatures warm because of human-caused climate change." "It's possible in the near term that climate change will cause more extreme winter storms and some years of increased snowfall - like the data shows for the Northeast U.S. - but as global temperature warms, there will be fewer of those years, and eventually we could see snowfall amounts fall off a cliff," writes CNN's Eric Zerkel, who is "An extreme...

Court Papers Say Ex-Virginia Election Official On Trial 'Altered Election Results' In 2020 Election

The former general registrar of Prince William County, Va., allegedly "Altered election results" during the 2020 election, according to court documents recently obtained by Just the News. The current general registrar says that his predecessor's alleged conduct didn't impact any election outcomes. In a county where President Joe Biden received 54% of the vote in the 2020 presidential election to former President Donald Trump's 44%, an election official at the time allegedly "Altered election results" in the state's reporting system, leading to three grand jury indictments last year. In September 2022, former Prince William County general registrar Michele White was indicted by a grand jury on two felony counts alleging corrupt conduct as an election official and making a false statement, and one misdemeanor indictment of willful neglect of duty by an election officer. According to a notice and motion for release of court funds for defense investigati...

Charter schools use "fewer dollars to achieve better outcomes," write University of Arkansas researchers.

Charter schools provide students with greater educational gains per dollar spent than traditional public schools. Despite receiving far less money per pupil than TPS, students in charter schools perform better and are estimated to earn more per dollar invested in their education "Charter schools use their funding more efficiently, achieving better short- and long-term outcomes per dollar invested, relative to" traditional public schools, the study reads. "Relative to similar TPS students, charter school students, on average, perform slightly better on standardized tests, graduate high school at higher rates, enroll in college at higher rates, and have more positive behavioral outcomes." In the nine cities studied by the researchers, public schools received an average of $29,168 per pupil in FY 2020. For charter schools, that number shoots up to $6.25, meaning that the return on investment for students attending charter schools is 58 percent higher than for those att...

Who You Gonna Believe: Your Wallet Or Your Lying Eyes?

Joe Biden and his surrogates keep trying to convince and shame the American people into believing that the economy is doing great and that "Bidenomics" is the reason. In the more extreme cases, people become homeless late in life, having lost all their resources to deal with job loss or other emergencies. Lots of hard-working and productive people found themselves out of work because of massive disruptions to capital markets and the banking sector. During the Great Recession large numbers of people never experienced significant pain, as unemployment only affected a minority of workers. While 10% unemployment is a huge number of people looking for work, it also means 90% of the other people who wanted jobs were finding and keeping them. People who had steady jobs, government jobs, worked in non-volatile sectors like healthcare, as well as retirees with pensions and students, in many cases barely noticed. Ordinary people are not economists, but you don't need to be an econo...

New York City Students Prove Natural Conclusion of ‘Social Justice’ Was Always Violent Mobs

A mob of pro-Palestine students at a Queens high school who screamed for retribution against a Jewish teacher with the gall to attend a pro-Israel rally is another warning siren that America is devolving quickly into chaos reminiscent of the French Revolution. Here's what happened: After a photo of a health teacher at Hillcrest High School in Queens was shared in a TikTok video, showing the teacher holding an "I Stand With Israel" sign, students organized a protest Nov. 20 outside her classroom door, demanding that the school fire her. The 23-year veteran teacher, whose name was omitted by the New York Post from its coverage for her safety, told the Post that she was "Shaken to [her] core by the calls to violence against [her] that occurred online and outside [her] classroom last week." Adams announced that New York City Public Schools had begun an investigation into the origins of the riot. It's no longer just a group of ignorant and stubborn children unde...

America's Endless Federal Deficits

Fifteen years ago, when the Barack Obama-Joe Biden ticket first got elected, America's three highest federal deficits on record, in inflation-adjusted dollars, were all from World War II. Since then annual deficits have surpassed World War II levels an amazing 12 times, bumping wartime deficits down to 13th, 14th, and 15th in the record books. In 2020-under President Donald Trump, a Democratic House, and a Republican Senate-the nation's inflation-adjusted deficit more than quadrupled any deficit during World War II. In fact, the 2020 deficit was higher than the combined deficits across all four years of World War II. In 2020, for every $10 in tax revenue that came in, $19 in spending went out. The Congressional Budget Office says that without that judicial decision, the 2023 deficit would be several hundred billion dollars higher, which would vault it to third on the list of highest real deficits. Even if one assumes that deficits should rise as the population rises, recent def...

While America Pursues Renewables, Worldwide Expansion Is Underway For Nuclear Generated Electricity

Sweden, China, India, Russia, and others are changing from occasional electricity from renewables to fossil-free electricity from nuclear that is continuous and uninterruptible. American political leaders such as President Joe Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom continue "To dream the impossible dream" that intermittent electricity from wind and solar can run the world while countries such as Sweden, China, India, and Russia are changing from occasional electricity by renewables to electricity from nuclear that is continuous, uninterruptible, and fossil-free. Sweden plans 'massive' expansion of new nuclear generated electricity by 2045. America continues its pursuit of reducing crude oil usage, in favor of wind and solar generated electricity. The nameplate rated capacity of renewables is very misleading as the generated electricity is intermittent and unreliable To the electrical engineer, the available wind and solar farms operational data shows that, it is n...

Independent Audit By Arizona Election Integrity Group Says Hundreds Of Provisional Ballots From Republicans Remain Uncounted: 'Abe Hamadeh Won The Attorney General's Race'

Co-founder Shelby Busch issued a video last week revealing that the group found hundreds of instances involving people who said they voted for Abe Hamadeh but their ballots were not counted - more than the 280 votes he lost the attorney general's race by. Busch said in the video, "Abe Hamadeh won the attorney general's race. I'm going to outline for you the evidence behind how Kris Mayes was installed as the illegitimate attorney general. Our evidence in Abe's case shows that thousands of Arizona voters were disenfranchised on Election Day in violation of the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, and Katie Hobbs, the secretary of state and the counties know about these voters and have done nothing to correct it." She read the stories of several voters who were disenfranchised, who were told at the polls they would have to vote a provisional ballot since they were no longer registered to vote in their county, only to find out that the provisional was never coun...

Trump 2024: Rhode Island Federal Court dismisses latest ballot challenge

Donald Trump is one of the most important political figures of the day and, arguably, the most important Republican in national politics. November 27, 2023 - Rhode Island Federal Court Dismisses Latest Ballot Challenge "Earlier today, a federal judge in Rhode Island dismissed yet another frivolous 14th Amendment challenge to President Trump's ballot eligibility in 2024. Courts in Colorado, New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Michigan have all dismissed similar claims by political actors seeking to interfere with the presidential election and help the failing campaign of Crooked Joe Biden. President Trump remains undefeated in beating back these spurious claims."The American People have the unassailable right to vote for the candidate of their choosing at the ballot box, something the Democrats and their allies driving these cases clearly disagree with. President Trump believes the American voters, not the courts, should decide who wins next year's elections and we urge a sw...

MARTIN BAKER: Black Americans are being led astray by politicized pastors

In 1939, Margaret Sanger, the founder of what is now Planned Parenthood, advocated the need for recruiting ministers to aid in speaking to congregations with the aim of increasing birth control services in black communities in the South. While Sanger's policy worked out exceedingly well for the racists of the eugenics movement, it decimated black communities and has led to the termination of more than twenty million Black babies since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion in 1973. Sanger's push for abortion is largely responsible for black Americans no longer being the largest minority group in the country, having now been surpassed by hispanics, whose abortion rates are less than half that of black women. Black ministers have been led down the primrose path by promises from the usual race hustlers who promise increased influence and larger congregations, if they preach certain ideological political beliefs, generally liberal, to their parishioners. Ironically, after now-President Lyn...

O'Keefe Reveals 'Bird-Dogging' To Incite Violence At Trump Events

Democrats have used trained provocateurs to instigate violence at Republican events nationwide throughout the 2016 election cycle, including at several Donald Trump rallies, using a tactic called "Bird-dogging," according to a new video investigation released Monday by James O'Keefe's Project Veritas. O'Keefe's extensive video investigation reveals that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee are involved in "Bird-dogging" and other provocative tactics through a web of consultants led by Robert Creamer, a veteran Chicago activist and convicted felon who is thought to have planned Democrats' political strategy during the push for Obamacare in 2009 and 2010. O'Keefe and his team also obtained hidden camera videos showing one of Creamer's consultants, Scott Foval, describing "Bird-dogging," among other tactics, and taking credit for having instigated violence at several Republican events during the 2016 e...

Georgia Supreme Court Pauses Commission Created To Check Prosecutors, Stalling Senate Effort To Rein In Fani Willis

The Georgia Supreme Court refused to accept the proposed rules for the state's new Prosecuting Attorneys Qualification Commission in a ruling made Wednesday, effectively pausing the Republican effort to provide oversight for the state's attorneys. Georgia lawmakers passed SB 92 last year, creating the PAQC to provide oversight of elected district attorneys across the state, and it was signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp in May. While independent, the legislation requires the Georgia Supreme Court to accept the PAQC's draft standards and rules before the committee can enforce its decisions. In its written ruling, the Georgia Supreme Court expressed "Grave doubts" about whether it has "The constitutional power to take any action on" accepting or declining PAQC's proposals, and instead declined to make any decision on the matter, indefinitely pausing the committee. When Georgia State Senator Colton Moore began circulating a legislative petition calli...

Family Of The First American Released By Hamas Bought Hunter Biden's Art

The problem is that a) Qatar has also been reportedly instrumental in keeping this ceasefire agreement intact, and b) Biden didn't secure the release of any American hostage until now-and it's someone whose family reportedly bought Hunter Biden's art. Abigail Mor Edan, the youngest U.S. citizen held by Hamas, was among the group of hostages released back to Israel on Sunday, both President Biden and the Israeli military confirmed. President Biden spoke about Abigail's release in televised remarks Sunday. "She's free and she's in Israel now," Mr. Biden said, adding that Abigail has "Been through a terrible trauma." The child's mother was killed in front of her by Hamas militants before her father was also gunned down while using his body to shield Abigail from the attack. Abigail then ran to neighbors for help, Mr. Biden said. So you're telling me that the great-aunt of the youngest American hostage - and first American - to be release...

United Nations To Hand Out Hundreds Of Millions In Cash To U.S.-Bound Immigrants In 2023

The director of this country's largest immigrant shelter worked himself into a peak of outrage recalling the largesse of a United Nations program that, unknown to most Americans, has been showering millions of dollars in cash to help foreign nationals on their way to cross the U.S. southern border. In his irritation, Flores would find unlikely common cause with some of the few Americans who know about this UN cash giveaway program, which is widespread and provides tens of millions of dollars to hundreds of thousands of immigrants on their way to illegally cross the American southern border. One group of 12 Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives, led by Texas Rep. Lance Gooden, last year proposed legislation calling for the United States to defund the United Nations for ironically, to them, using American tax money to inflict what they see as a catastrophe on Americans who pay those taxes. The "Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan" for 2023-2024, coordi...

Chinese Shadow Bank Announces Insolvency, Government Announces Investigation

The big concern about the failure of Chinese real estate titans Evergrande Group and Country Garden was that their financial collapse would spread into the rest of the economy. Sure enough last week a major shadow bank called Zhongzhi Enterprise Group sent a letter to investors announcing it was insolvent. Advertisement China's Zhongzhi Enterprise Group, a leading wealth manager, told investors it is heavily insolvent with up to $64 billion in liabilities, threatening to reignite concerns that the country's property debt crisis is spilling over into the broader financial sector. The firm, which has sizable exposure to China's real estate sector, apologised to its investors in a letter that said it had total liabilities of about 420 billion yuan to 460 billion yuan "Initial inspections show that the group is seriously insolvent and has significant continuing operational risks. The resources available for debt repayment in the short term are much lower than the group...

Milei's Task Ahead: Defeating The Administrators

On Sunday 19 November 2023 the flamboyant-outrĂ©, actually-Javier Milei won the presidential election in woeful, tragic Argentina. Milei is repeatedly compared to Donald Trump, but there is really no comparison. Milei is a self-described anarcho-capitalist, whereas most populists now and historically are openly hostile to capitalism and markets: modern populists hurl the "Neoliberal" insult at those with pro-market views far milder than Milei's. Milei loathes leftists and leftism, and repeatedly refers to them on television and in public appearances in scatalogical terms, calling them "Leftards." He despises collectivism, and asserts bluntly that leftists are out to destroy you. To combat the country's massive inflation, Milei says he will dollarize the economy and eliminate the central bank. Even if he avoids Trump's fault of repeatedly appointing those hostile to his agenda to the positions in the bureaucracy he can hire and fire, Milei will still face...

Dems Are Getting Mugged By Reality, Often Literally

She changed her tune after getting mugged by reality. "We need to catch these young people who are running wild creating chaos across our city, and HOLD THEM IN CUSTODY AND PROSECUTE THEM," she posted on X. Earlier this year, Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minn., was assaulted in the elevator of her Washington, D.C., residence by a 26-year-old man. At the same time, Democratic mayors are finding their cities being mugged by the illegal immigrants that Biden and his open-border cronies have let flood into the country. New York City Mayor Eric Adams recenty announced plans to cut $4 billion from the city's budget, including canceling the hiring of new police officers, to pay for the influx of more than 100,000 illegals in the past year. Maybe that's because, as one Chicago Democrat pointed out, while tens of thousands of blacks in the city are homeless, illegals are being put up in hotels. In the wake of Hamas' genocidal attack on Israel, liberals got figuratively mugged by t...
